After getting ready, I left the house and I closed the door, just like any other day. No, it was far from just another day.

I then headed to one of those inexpensive stores where you can find all kinds of treasures for a dollar. You really can’t put a price tag on that.
I looked around the room and saw all the historic pictures of this establishment over the years. I’m not sure which is harder: having someone close to you slip out of your life or having someone close to you slip out of your life, only to return and then slip out of your life again.
As I was heading down a country road this morning, I came across a farm. Everyone, loudly and proudly, without the words or sheet music, sang the first verse.
God of our weary years,
God of our silent tears….
As the new entry into the world gets tossed from arm to arm, the eyes of those holding this gift are opened to the vast potential before them. Thank you for giving me great parents that encouraged me to learn, even when I fussed.
