Ronald Reagan – Alzheimer’s Disease

“And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” Matthew 27:46 KJV
She asked, “Daddy, why aren’t you crying?” He put his hand on her shoulder very softly and looked her in the eyes. She saw so much comfort and peace in those eyes. If you look closely, though, there are times when his Superman outfit seems to be missing. I notice my Superman outfit sitting on the dresser.

Ronald Reagan – The Lifeguard

“He saith unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Lovest thou me? And he said unto him, Lord, thou knowest all things; thou knowest that I love thee. Jesus saith unto him, Feed my sheep.” John 21:17 KJV
Some may find this hard to believe, but I am a diehard goal’s person. So this skinny, quiet lad decided to enroll in a lifesaving course at the YMCA. His life was much like his Father’s. There was nothing special about it. Goals help make our life seem worthwhile.

Reagan’s Assassination Attempt – George HW Bush’s Connections

“Wherefore Hanun took David’s servants, and shaved them, and cut off their garments in the midst hard by their buttocks, and sent them away.” I Chronicles 19:4 KJV
I think he also thought, just as an egg is fragile, the world would come crashing down on our lives once our innocence got corrupted. The tower radioed back, “Sir, we’ve just received word about a shooting in Washington. There is no indication the President has been hit. Word is that two agents are down. That’s all we have right now. But I’m going to make some calls and see if I can get some more information.” The punishment for these alleged spies was designed to send a clear message back to Israel: “We’re not stupid. You can’t fool us. If you send us others, they will be treated the same way.”

Ronald Reagan – Nancy’s Cancer

“When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.” Matthew 8:10 KJV

Sometimes we feel life is all about control. They both had their pistols pointed at the other’s head. They were fully cocked and ready to fire off at a deadly force. The man, who with the push of a button or the stroke of a pen, could send a nuclear missile toward an enemy or just as easily could send that missile to the scrapyard, was helpless….

Ronald Reagan – Iran-Contra

“Bring my soul out of prison, that I may praise thy name: the righteous shall compass me about; for thou shalt deal bountifully with me.” Psalm 142:7 KJV

Have you ever worked so hard on doing something right only to have really bad results come from it? It very well may be that it is the right direction, but the results don’t make us feel very good.

Reagan and Ford – The Presidential Dream Team

“And I will break the pride of your power; and I will make your heaven as iron, and your earth as brass: And your strength shall be spent in vain: for your land shall not yield her increase, neither shall the trees of the land yield their fruits”. Leviticus 26: 19-20 KJV

It was called the Dream Team. It is unbeatable.

Ronald Reagan – The Story of his Father

“Jesus wept.” John 11:35 KJV

Each one of them still holds a special place in my heart. It is through this pain that we really understand how much we really care for that person.

Tecumseh (Indian) - Clipart

William Henry Harrison – The Curse of Tecumseh

“And they set the ark of God upon a new cart, and brought it out of the house of Abinadab that was in Gibeah: and Uzzah and Ahio, the sons of Abinadab, drave the new cart.” 2 Samuel 6:3 KJV

It’s probably not politically correct to even talk about Indians this way today, but it kept us busy for hours. Tecumseh was a Shawnee Indian warrior. Tenskwatawa, the Prophet, was his younger brother. How it really happens or if it really happened at all is often suspect.
