As a nation, we have had 232 years of Presidents. The day a new President is sworn in, the old President now becomes an ex-President. How many of these ex-Presidents have been alive during the same year?
Surprisingly, some presidential birthplaces are hard to find. They might be as hard to find as that Biblical spring or the perfect squash.
When the New Year’s ball dropped, and issued in 2020, I don’t believe a single living person would have guessed this year would have turned out this way. When this President was shot, America was devastated. This is where Marsha Albert comes in. Didymus would much rather live for the cause than die for it, but he is stilling willing to die for it, if need be.
How can you lose the body of a President? How can the Bible save heroes who are so despised? When responsibility calls, are you willing to reverse roles?
Even when you aren’t athletic, victory, any victory, is still sweet. This President was hoping the golf course would give him a tiny victory. We all need to be on a victorious team.
One shunned a crown. Then one worked with those he knew were stabbing him in the back. Another looked out for the country over himself. Each was an example of the type of leadership we need now.
Throughout our history, the Presidents have uttered some words that may offer us some encouragement in this difficult coronavirus time. Their wisdom, their doubts, and their understanding that we have a nation very capable of bouncing back, can offer us a glimmer of hope for our future.
With the recent Coronavirus (Covic-19) outbreak, it seems that those over 60 years old are most at risk. So, what were the Presidents doing when they hit sixty-years-old? Is 60 a magic number in the Bible?
