This President, when he was a young lad, had a very terrible temper. You might say he didn’t respond very well to stressful situations. There was also a group of very whiny, under appreciative walkers in the Bible who seemed to do the same thing over and over again, too. Walking may be a real good all-around exercise.

There were so many life lessons that I did not understand as I was growing up. As I entered the house the telephone was ringing!! I was told, “the President is on a helicopter on the way to visit the lab. He should arrive in a few minutes!”

Americans have a great advantage over the rest of the world, at least in one respect: we are allowed to dream. What’s more, we can act on those dreams. His father probably had that desire. His father was a common laborer, but with the inheritance from his father (our President’s grandfather) he bought and owned a little general store. One thing about American dreams, though, is they don’t always have a happy ending. That was the case with this little general store in Texas. It failed. So his father had to resort to living in a small rented shack.
