Sometimes we forget what we should do first. Like this President and King Asa, we often let our own “wisdom” get in the way.

“It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.” Psalm 118:8 KJV
Personally, for one of the few times in his life, I think this President lost his confidence in himself and what he was capable of doing. When you are talking to the Great Creator, it is often easy to forget He made everything, even confidence. Sometimes confidence gets broken because Faith and Trust forget about their older brother, Wisdom.
“And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.” Matthew 14:28 KJV
Imagine if he had never left Princeton. But the simple fact of the matter is that there were eleven others. A very different opportunity sits in front of me.

Her father’s death didn’t stop her mother from making sure she raised her children so they weren’t afraid to make a difference. She had faith that her life’s example was the biggest advertisement to change the unjust things she witnessed. I’m sure old Eeyore, I mean Didymus, was really discouraged now. I am a very logical person.
