Forgetting what got you where you are at can almost be as bad as a famous general forgetting a famous former First Lady.

Let’s peer into my world and see which Presidents, or presidential styles, Bible characters, and foods I least admire.
“And it shall turn to you for a testimony.” Luke 21:13 KJV
This President understood that the “whys” would find answers only by actions. I’m sure there were many times this Bible character must have asked God, “Why me? I wasn’t real sure what that was, but my wife knew, because she had to go through it, too.
“Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain.” I Corinthians 9: 24 KJV
The future President told him he really appreciated his competitiveness, but maybe when they played a team of locals, they could dial it back a little bit. He knew it was just a matter of time before his enemies would be taunting him because of his defeat and then he would have his life taken from him by them. Who can’t think of the word horse without thinking of basketball?
“And he sent, and brought him in. Now he was ruddy, and withal of a beautiful countenance, and goodly to look to. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him: for this is he.” I Samuel 16:12 KJV
Some wars are caused by aggression, but many are cause by the fact that two sides see the exact same thing differently. Such observations might have been the case of this war. Because the young lad was so blinded by his love for his boss, and now father-in-law, he was unaware that the boss was trying to destroy him. Sales are a bit of a funny thing by nature.
“Then thou scarest me with dreams, and terrifiest me through visions: So that my soul chooseth strangling, and death rather than my life.” Job 7:14-15 KJV
It seems he was out in the middle of nowhere. The problems and the defeats of this world were just too great for him. Everywhere he looked there was darkness.
The things you thought were important when you were young now look pretty silly. I wanted long hair because all my friends had long hair. He would often have The Victors, the University of Michigan fight song, played as he entered the room instead of Hail to the Chief.
It was such a big company he didn’t even know I use to work for him. Justice is always better when it is the Lord’s hands that do it.
Now there would also be a bunch of people who would be going home to tell their families that they no longer had jobs. Very few mourn when arrogance meets its end.
It was called the Dream Team. It is unbeatable.
