I highly doubt the reason that “The Human Iceberg” failed to leave a positive impression was because he spent too much time listening. Balaam thought more of his personal gain than he did about listening for what God was really saying. When we make an arrow, it is rarely pointed in our own direction.

short time before his big fortieth birthday party, his wife and he were having a discussion. Actually, it wasn’t really a discussion, but it was a question she raised. Our Bible character was taking a walk down one of those dusty roads. He turned to his left and he noticed something strange. I guess when you start looking up instead of looking down, you know that you have hit the bottom and there is now only one way to go.
I must admit, I’m not a huge fan of knock, knock jokes, but when you have grandkids they become part of your life. Good news always comes from some form of communication. .
