The fear of failure may turn back many, but it didn’t discourage this individual from running for the Presidency. It would have been easy for this Bible character to just give up, but thankfully for us, he didn’t. With these two examples, failure shouldn’t scare us either.
“For thou art my rock and my fortress; therefore for thy name’s sake lead me, and guide me.” Psalm 31:3 KJV
I’m not exactly sure how our country has gotten into the shape it has gotten in. He knows his turn is coming to be a church leader. That’s why God made grandkids.
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.” II Corinthians 4:18 KJV
Despite the fact that no one knew anything about his political views, our major general was the leading candidate. The great voice basically said, “You shall fall on your knees so you will know that I am the way, but I will not let you stay on those knees very long because I have much work for you to do.” The statement they are trying to proclaim is also an indictment on themselves.

It literary took me thirty minutes before my breathing returned to normal. It’s strange how the best moments of reflection are almost always when you are trying to recharge.
Have you ever worked so hard on doing something right only to have really bad results come from it? It very well may be that it is the right direction, but the results don’t make us feel very good.
Vacations are a great way to get away from the hustle, bustle, and pressures of the daily work life. The problem is when we stand in front of the trophy, all anyone sees is us.
