I’m sure America turned out a lot differently than this President had hoped. Celebration is part of life and part of the Bible. The 4th of July is one of my favorite celebrations.
“Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.” John 9:23 KJV
When he became a young man himself, some would say he was a carbon copy of his father. Many might have considered that an insult, but not him. He took it as praise. If you want to blame someone, blame Him. Taking action is far better than looking for excuses.
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8 KJV
He suggested that this young Virginian, Thomas Jefferson, be on that committee of five. But who else should be on that committee? We have colleges, universities, trade schools, apprenticeship programs, and a host of other available programs to help us better ourselves and our careers. Sometimes I believe we take this education for granted, like it is something we are owed. Education is a gift and those who recognized that often are better at taking advantage of it.
No matter how many times I hear it, I never get tired of hearing it. Don’t make me pull out my official How to Count Words manual.
