short time before his big fortieth birthday party, his wife and he were having a discussion. Actually, it wasn’t really a discussion, but it was a question she raised. Our Bible character was taking a walk down one of those dusty roads. He turned to his left and he noticed something strange. I guess when you start looking up instead of looking down, you know that you have hit the bottom and there is now only one way to go.

One should leave it to others, and not one’s self, the job of reaping praise. I had graced the land where my feet did not feel worthy. He borrowed the family Oldsmobile because it had a radio. It is winter here in Virginia and we are just waiting for that big snowstorm to hit. It was a sad day in Wichita, especially for him. He is always there rooting for us and He never gives up on us.
