Too often we find fault in those around. It’s like we want them to motivate us in the manner we want to be motivated. Maybe we should be like this President, and this Bible character, and be the inspiration others needs. We might be surprised by the results.

He was the family success story where Freddy was the family failure. A few moments later he lifts up his head and notices they are all gone. Translation: changing the words, just to make you feel better about it, is sometimes nothing more than legalism.
“Therefore said his parents, He is of age; ask him.” John 9:23 KJV
When he became a young man himself, some would say he was a carbon copy of his father. Many might have considered that an insult, but not him. He took it as praise. If you want to blame someone, blame Him. Taking action is far better than looking for excuses.
“Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren; And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram; And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon….” Matthew 1:2-4 KJV
Once upon a time there was a boy. I would like to close this story by saying that he lived happily ever after: the end. As time is passed from one generation to another, the twist and turns often take us in different directions.
